About Us
In 2020, during a time of isolation and disconnection, we felt a deep yearning to honor the first responders and nurses battling the COVID-19 pandemic, while also reconnecting with our ancestral roots. This led to the creation of our drumming group. We are both proud and grateful to practice our craft on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lhiedli T'enneh Nation
Comprising of individuals from diverse walks of life, we united with a shared purpose: to heal and empower our community through the powerful rhythm of the drum. Our collective beats are not only a tribute to our heritage but also a call to action. We advocate tirelessly for missing and murdered Indigenous people, the victims of the opioid crisis, and those enduring the generational trauma stemming from colonization. Rooted in the belief that inclusivity is essential to our shared human experience, we embrace and uplift all people, recognizing that we are all interconnected. Through our drumming, we strive to foster unity, resilience, and hope, honoring our past while forging a brighter future for everyone.
What We Do
We perform at local events, gatherings, and ceremonies to spread awareness about the issues affecting our communities. Through the powerful rhythm of the drum, we aim to honor our ancestors and bring healing to the present.
